I have an HP DVD-ROM and I am having a lot problem reading Super Smash Bros Brawl. I don't seem to have this reading problem with other Wii games. What am I doing wrong?

brawl is a dual layered disk thats why.

How are you "reading" Wii games?

Even the ones that can need special software.

You are correct. I just looked at the serial and it's a GDR-8162B.

So is this not the proper way to read Super Smash Bros?

Windows cannot read a Wii disc.

If you are trying to backup a Wii disc, there are several threads that detail the procedure.

You will need a copy of Rawdump or Friidump to back the disc up. I used friidump 0.4 to back up SSBB.
