Hi guys,

I've been reading these forums for a little while now, however this is my first posting. I'm trying to get ISO's to load on my PSP and I seem to be having some problems with UMDemulator. It refuses to work. Every time I extract the program onto my PSP, I get two corrupted data icons in the GAMES section and they refuse to open. I've searched multiple threads to see maybe if I'm putting it in the wrong directory, I've even tried putting it in different directories, but alas, nothing. I'm wondering if anyone could steer me in the proper direction into getting this resolved. Also, for putting ISO's into the ISO folder on the PSP, do I need to make an image of the ISO using a program such as ISO Buster? If not, do I just copy the multiple files in the ISO torrent to the folder? Thank you for your time.

if you are putting multiple files in the folder that is your problem. The files are split up because of the sizes. the multiple files should be numbered after the torrent download and need to be extracted. Get a program called WinRar then right click the first file in the sequence of files and extract the file (you can pick where you want the final extracted file to end up). when you extract the first one all the other files with be extracted in order and will create one single file that can then be placed in you PSP's ISO folder.

Awesome! So now I know how to put ISO's on; thank you! However, shouldn't the UMDEmulator program load even without any ISO's? Like even with nothing in the ISO folder, shouldn't the program still load? Also, do I need a UMD in the drive to use UMDEmulator and if so, when should I put in the disc?

If you have a modded PSP then you don't have to use another program to run the game just enable the ISO driver and put the ISOs in the ISO folder at the root of the memory stick.

How do I "enable" the ISO driver?

This will NOT work if you have official firmware.

Press select at xmb(main screen) and a little menu should come up(if it doesn't you don't have custom firmware). Go down to UMD ISO mode and go left or right until you reach either Sony NP9660 or M33 driver(the sony driver works best). Go down to exit and you're finished and the ISOs should work now.
