A little help with setting up with nethost and irshell?

hello

(just a sub-question:i know i can use this to stream files...but can i access the internet without a router as well using this?i.e. using the computers wifi?)

I'm having a little trouble using that connect your psp to computer without a router thingy. I'm using PSP Slim,5.00m33-6 and irshell 4.92 along with nethost v2.1.
I used this guide here

now...I did everything exactly as the guide said except for a few things (due to perhaps, seemingly unavoidable reasons):

1. While entering the IP address of the psp manually along with primary DNS, there was a space to enter the access point's number. It's a compulsion to fill up this spot in order to proceed. I wasnt using a router so i just typed 1.1.1.1 and went ahead.

2. The guidce mentioned something about using a .bat file to configure the password for nethost. All i got with the download was the nethost program which runs nethost 2.1 on double clicking.

When i try to "toggle nethost" on the irshell menu, the psp freezes and then shuts down a few seconds later with a momentary flash of the wifi indicator.
So..where exactly am i going wrong?

Your helping me on this subject is much appreciated.

Hi, did u used the patch?
ms0/irshell/patch
try this maybe u`r have luck i was able with the patch to play my games with nethostfs , but first: only on infrastructure not on adhoc
i heard something that u need the original psp wlan stick for this
otherwise it won`t work
