I just got my Samsung SH-D163B a few days ago. Flashed Kreon v1.00 to it.

I own about 22 games that I'm trying to backup. I have no problem ripping my older games (Tomb Raider, MK vs DC, GTA IV, etc). They always come out to be 7,651,848 kb.

My newer games (Red Faction & Prototype) to come in at 7,654,976 kb, and won't pass stealth tests from the 3 major programs (XBC, Schtrom, ABGX360). I'm guessing these are "Wave 3" games.

Am I overlooking something, and/or is there a certain way to do Wave 3 titles? Maybe a Wave 3 tutorial?

Some of the results I got for Red Faction Guerrilla:

------------------------------------------

Xbox Backup Creator v2.8

Security Sector ------------- Passed
PFI Sector ------------------ Failed
DMI Sector ------------------ Passed
Media ID -------------------- Not Tested
Video File System ----------- Not Tested
SplitVid Format ------------- Not Tested

------------------------------------------

Schtrom v4.0:

Video Layer 1 on Layer 0 ---- Failed
Video Layer 1 on Layer 1 ---- Failed
Overall Results - Failed

------------------------------------------

ABGX360 v1.0.1:

Stealth check --------------- Passed
Verification ---------------- Failed

------------------------------------------

Any advice, instruction, help is appreciated.
Thanks

You are using a old version of XBOX Backup Creator. The newest version is 2.9. Update and you won't have the Wave 3 problem.

I'll try that. I have 2.9 and I thought I used it. I posted results from 2.8 because it has a stealth check, which they removed from the new 2.9 version.

It was late, and the frustration monster was looking over my shoulder :)

I'll try it again.

One question though. Is 7,654,976 kb the correct file size for newer games?

Yeah the size should be around there. No for sure exactly but just copy and run the ISO through ABGX and you should be good.

XBC 2.9 & 2.8 both worked. I must've been doing something wrong and not realizing it. I was pretty tired and it was pretty late.

Thanks for the input tgunnz.

Once again leerage, mucho grassy ass!

Hi,
I am having the exact same problem that was originally mentioned in this thread. In the past I can successfully backup Xbox 360 games but recently games such as 'UFC Undisputed', 'Prototype' and 'Red Faction - Guerilla' display the error

Xbox Backup Creator v2.8

Security Sector ------------- Passed
PFI Sector ------------------ Failed
DMI Sector ------------------ Passed
Media ID -------------------- Not Tested
Video File System ----------- Not Tested
SplitVid Format ------------- Not Tested

I then open the ISO in abgx360 and after launch everything is good and green (don't know how to copy the content of that window) except for the 'checking PFI' which is yellow saying 'this will be detected error etc.' So I then check the box in autofix that says 'adjust angle etc.' as it recommends (due to the fact I'm pretty sure my firmware is less than IX1.4 . I then launch again and all good all green. However when I open the file in XBC it displays the above error!

I've tried burning in XBC 2.9 , theres no error but still won't boot and just displays the xbox 360 logo white screen.

I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. I know I should update my firmware but I'm not 100% sure how my mate did it. I've got the setup here and I might call him later and find out. I downloaded the ix1.6 firware and jungleflasher but again I'm not 100% on how to do it all.

I thought by allowing abgx to auto fix that wave 3 angle problem it would boot. I've made 3 coasters and getting desperate. Please help.

Thanks.

Well that's probably because Wave 3 games won't work on anything less than iXtreme 1.51.

To copy content press ctl + alt + print screen.

If you flashed your own 360 which to me sounds like you didnt, hence the desperation and the question, its not that you should update, its that you have to. No if ands or big JLO buttttts about it. Read before you bleed.
