Ok, so I want to upgrade my hard drive from 20gb to 120gb with the Western Digital BEV's drive.

Well, that's not a problem

However, why can't I just transfer all of my game saves from my old HDD, to my computer, then to my new HDD?

Regards

Unless you got game saves that won't copy to a memory card, stupid Left 4 Dead, it's just quicker to use the memory card. I copied over my profile and saved games in a couple minutes.

Read all the guides you can before using xplorer360, I've read alot of horror stories about it bricking peoples drives. Make sure you know what you're doing before messing around.
I just picked up a cheap used memory card to transfer the saves I wanted.
Good luck, let us know how it turns out.

Not that I encourage such things but Gamestop sells a used 64meg for $15. Could buy that from one store then return it to another or just return it to the same store. I would say if you do it in all in a couple hours, I doubt they'd raise an eyebrow.

Have fun transferring 14 gb of memory at 64mb a trip... it would take hours.
