Hey everyone, it has been a while since I have stepped back into the modding game, but with the new ixtreme 1.6, I am probably going to have to upgrade my Xbox 360. Now I have some general questions. I bought my 360 already modded. It has an Hitachi drive, looking at the tray holder. Now I know that from everything I have read, it will take them a bit longer to come out with ixtreme 1.6 for them. Now I have tried looking around and keep finding strange tutorials on how to flash this when I need to. Now is there anything different that I have to do since I would be upgrading my 360, when it comes to the flashing part? Like if anyone knows or has a good tutorial, might they share? I am not sure what firmware is on there now considering I did not mod this 360. I know that you could find people on Craigslist (which is oddly enough where I bought mine off of), but is that the best way to go since these people already have the right head on their shoulders when it comes to modding and flashing? Just looking for some help in general. Thank you very much.

Best way to flash it and easiest is Jungle Flasher. Depending on what version of the Hitachi drive you may need the unlock cd which is used for version 79. If you take the time to read and re-read flashing your drive is not hard at all.
