ok so i flashed my benq with ix1.6 to dump my games. i did half try trick and it was recognized in windows. yyyyaayyy! or so i thought. i started up XBC and bam! frozen computer. turned off the drive and then turned it back on and i got the infamous flashing green light and no eject scenario. and i though oh no big deal this happened before ill just load up good ol' DF16 and return it to stock. did it successfully with good chip properties unplugged the unit from the wall and let it sit for about 5 minutes just to make sure it was nice and reset. plugged it back in and what do you know still stuck in vendor. i load up DF16 and it says oh no this isn't in vendor. i load up JF, same thing. so i put it in vendor using benq unlock seeing as it was stock FW read the drive and JF verifies that it is valid stock with good key. so i outro the drive power cycle it again for good measure and what do you know still blinking lights with no eject. any suggestions?

oh and DF32 doesnt work for me.

Try flashing it with the Iextreme FW again. Not sure if this will help but sounds like the drive thinks there is no FW on it. If it is reporting not in vendor mode then thats the only thing I can suggest. Suppose it won't hurt...and no one else has any ideas that I can see.

I am honestly not sure what to say then... Have you tried a different download of the FW? Or possibly have another drive you can try?

well it worked before with the same exact FW and i even reverted to stock countless times and i have recovered form a bad flash and this exact scenario before but it just wont work this time.

wow once again!!!! it works with out doing s*** to it! ok well thx for listening to me bitch for no reson. any one have an advice for when i put it back in 0008 mode to avoid this?
