I've been using TVersity for a while now. Although I've been using the old PS3 for gaming rather than a media server lately so I've probably missed an update (I think?). Anyway, I tried to watch a video and to my surprise all the videos I have (.avi) are no longer recognized by my PS3. I did not use to have this issue as I said I've been using TVersity for a while now and the format of the video was never an issue. Some movies sometimes froze but that was it. The version of TVersity I am using right now is 0.9.11.4. I've been holding out on updating since the old version until lately still worked. Any thoughts and help would be greatly appreciated.

PS.
My PS3s' firmware is up to date :)

I would consider PS3 Media Server. I've been using it for months no problems.

^ I'd have to agree though its not really the answer to his problem. Tversity ended up giving me too many headaches, switched to ps3 media server and now it plays pretty much anything and I can stream at a much higher resolution than before (720p compared to 340x280).
