DVD Rebuilder doesn't convert to DVD.
99% of all problems are between the computer and the chair.

As suggested, check for overheating issues. Give your pc a good dust bunnie blow out.
Then, make sure you're using a program that converts, as stated DvdRB does not.
Use either AVStoDVD or Dvd Flick (freeware)
Or convertXtodvd (payware)

No it wasn't. He contributed nothing of real value to the post and didn't even have the sense to obfuscate the file names. The key problem being:
Quote: my computer crashes haflway throught ive tried diffrent converters and diffrent files and still keeps crashing
That would denote a system, not software problem. Plus CX2D is an excellent program, always being improved, that far surpasses simple free converters like DVD Flick. That takes $$$$.

We all have our preferences..For ease of use and quick conversions, CXD3 will work for me..For quality conversions, AVStoDVD or FAVC with HCenc,"surpasses" cxd3 by far..IMO!..
Cheers, T

Hardly. FAVC is an abandoned app that very often produces incomplete DVD files, has a rudimentary menu, has no way to adjust (pad/crop) the image, no way to merge sources, can only handle srt subtitles (with no way to adjust size location, font etc.), will re-encode 6 channel compliant AC3 to 2 channels and will not accept neither mpgs or VOBs. It's not even in the same league as CX2D. And for the average 90 minute Xvid the difference in picture quality between CX2D and HCenc encodes is minimal at best. AVStoDVD although a step up from FAVC, also cannot merge sources, can't handle IDX/SUB subtitles, has no easy way to pad (add borders) and requires a fair amount of codec fiddling. Although decent it often fails on non-AVI sources, while the same file can be easily and properly converted in CX2D.

Ah yes, but the difference in picture quality is, in the eye of the beholder...To each their own!
Cheers, T out
