360 Overheating while in case?

Hey guys.

My 360 overheats while its in either my Ghost case or white case, I don't know why. But when I have it in the chasis with no case, it plays fine and the CPU stays cool.

Any reason why this could be happening? It kinda makes me mad that I just spent $45 on a case I can't use :(

It must not be 100% cool if it's over heating as soon as you put the case on. Should actually run cooler since you have more air flow.

Whoops, it doensn't overheat as soon as I put the case on. After about...25 min. it overheats.

But with no case on it runs great and stays cool.

Would suggest first check the fans are running properly, if they are I would re-apply new thermal paste to both CPU & GPU.
