Hi

If i install Free MCboot will it modify the ps2 bios files?
And will free mcboot only start like the independence exploit with a ps1 game in it?

no afaik it does something to do with tricking/exploiting the dvd software on your ps2

FMCB will boot on start up straight from your mc so no need for a 'trigger' disc to boot it up like the old independence exploit did

Yes , nothing is modified except when you insert the MC with the exploit .

is there out a way to play PS1 games onto my PS2 with free mcboot ?

i heard we can use PSXLOADER.ELF but how to make it work ?

I play ps2 games regularly on my slim ps2 with free mcboot but what
must be done to play ps1 games ? My ps2 slim is not chipped....
