Help Required regarding installing WADs on 4.0U

I need help installing wads on the wii .I wish to install Opera and some other wads which I have on an SD card .I do not know if I have the IOS 60 patch I wish to find out if it is patched or not .What else do I need ? I have HBC and Backup channel with cIOS38_rev12.Please Help.

The IOS60Patch is really only used to patch the system to let it play WAD Installed VC/WiiWare games from SD Card.

Lets say you install a WAD VC/WiiWare game. Then you MOVE (not copy) it to the SD card. If you then go to the SD card and try launching it and it says it can not be launched then you don't have the IOS60Patch installed. If it launches and works as normal then you have installed IOS60Patch.

Thanks Larry,I also need to know how to install wads on 4.0u.Also is IOS 60 patching absolutely safe.Can I avoid patching and running everything fron the wii. Thanks once again
