Excel Macro Needed: If

I need an excel macro that will do the following:
If the cell in column D is blank, delete the row and shift cells up.

I know how to record a macro but unfortunately not how to write one :( If anyone can offer any help on the matter you'd be saving me an insane amount of tedious work :)
