To the part where it says:"Just select normal settings (don't change IOS)
Install IOS35.wad."
I thought it told me to change IOS to 35, so I did it and find out that it was a big misunderstanding, what happened was that it was originally on IOS36 and because of the instruction telling me about IOS35, so I change the "select the version to use" IOS from 36 to 35 then I see the part about installing the IOS35.wad on the next screen, then I install it, after that I realized that I screwed up, I shouldn't have change the "select the version to use" from 36 to 35, the guide's instructions says don't change IOS, yet I did it because of the following instructions that says "install IOS35.wad", which makes me confused so I went ahead and changed "the version to use" IOS from 36 to 35 then install IOS35.wad, is this a big mistake? Will it do something wrong with my Wii? I have completed softmodding steps with the AD forum guide and now my Wii's working good, but what about the step that I screwed up with at the first place, is this a no big deal or is it better off to reinstall the softmod, overwrite everything to the correct order? Thanks.
If you were able to do the step where it says Install the CIOSv7.wad without a problem then it isn't anything to worry about.
In Wadmanager you are just selecting which IOS to use to install something. I know it says not to change but it isn't nearly that serious.
If you were unable to install CIOSv7.wad then I wouldn't even try to restart everything. Just go back to Wadmanager and do what it says just leaving it the way it is this time.

Yes, I was able to install CIOSv7, as I said, everything worked great, I'm just paranoid because it is my brand new Wii, I guess everything is cool, stuff works perfect with my Wii right now even though I haven't redone all the steps, I thought about redoing it but when I launch WAD Manager, the default "Select IOS version to use" becomes IOS249 as the default IOS, do I select this or do I have to go select back to IOS36 then install 35 and redo all the steps? But is it really necessary to redo all the steps? I mean, can you tell what has happened when I first did it, I changed 36 to 35 then install ios 35. Anything big going on there? I just wanna know what exactly did I do when I changed the version to use from 36 to 35 then install IOS35.
When you changed from 36 to 35 to install 35 all you did was use 35 to install. When you select an IOS in Wadmanager it doesn't even install to that IOS slot, it just use that specific IOS for the time period in which you are installing the IOS. After that there isn't even any memory of which IOS you chose.
It's like you have a cake and you can either use knife a or knife b to cut the cake. After you cut the cake no one can tell which knife you used to cut the cake and honestly it doesn't matter which knife you cut the cake with. The cake is still cut.
Edit: And the reason you see 249 now is because that is what you installed when you installed cIOS7. IOS249 basically is cIOS7.

And I didn't say to redo everything.
Nothing big going on here.

Thanks, very good explanation, it was very helpful, and I'm just gonna play my Wii the way it is now, thanks again.
I did this same exact thing, but unlike the author of this thread, I am having trouble installing the CIOSv7.wad. I get an error -1035. I thought it was odd that you mentioned "if you were able to do the step where it says install the CIOSv7 without a problem it isn't anything to worry about" because that is exactly my problem. Since you were familiar with this, do you have any idea what I can do to fix my problem? Please I am going crazy over this!
-1035 is because you are trying to install something without a bugged IOS.
I couldn't quite tell how far you got in the steps that Gamerofuk did but it shouldn't matter too much unless it's the actual steps that are giving you problems. So go ahead and do this http://yafaze.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=46&t=70
If you tried to install cIOS7 with IOS35 and then it gave you -1035 then I have to assume that IOS35 didn't get downgraded.
The only reason they say not to change it is probably due to IOS36 is the default IOS and it doesn't need to be changed. But changing it shouldn't matter. It should work with IOS35 or IOS36 when patching IOS35.
Now the next step you need to select IOS35 to install cIOS7 because the step before patched IOS35 to let the cIOS to be installed.
So daaaniel I would suggest trying to patch IOS35 again.
Then try installing cIOS7 again.
Make sure you select IOS35 when trying to install the cIOS7.
