I recently ripped a dvd using no 1 dvd ripper . My file was split into two. How do I combine the two? I saw a guide, but I didn't quite get how it worked.

What format did you rip them into? MPEG?

Well as the title says "Combining avis".
What guide did you use?
Have you tried VirtualDub?
Guide to join avis with VirtualDub can be found from the guides section.

Thanks guys

I tried the guide on afterdawn, but it wasn't specific enough. In the end I found another guide, that also used virtual dub on www.divx-digest.com. Thanks anyway. Everything is fine now
