I set about flashing a hitachi drive out of a mates xbox so it will work on mine. I set it into mode b using slax. Then used jungle flasher 1.62 BETA. I followed the instructions on dumping, flashing then rebooting. I used the RAM Upload method and could only set it to use Win API instead of Port IO. It went through the flash and it all said that it was fine and i got confirmation message on the log. I then disconnected my drive from the sata cable and plugged in the 360 SATA. When i insert a disc it says the disc needs to be played on an xbox (same message i got before). Can anybody tell me where i went wrong.
