Hi.
ive just got the Kryptview box and got me Nul M cable. I shall be using the loader and the .bin tonight to hopefully get it set up.
Is there a tutorial regarding setting up channels somewhere because I've seen txt about choosing providers and setting frequencies etc, or will I be able to just let it auto scan and find all the channels?
Also, are there any mistakes I need to be aware of that I may do and wreck my box/chip?
Hope this makes sense.
R

Here you go paul.

Here is all you need to know regarding the kryptview courtsey of HiTeck http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/779888

yep all you have to do is scan the box.

auto scan, then next window you will see your provider, just pick your provider, and touch no other settings and press the green button.

next screen you will get after this, will have your areas if you are on N** choose legacy channels, and then press ok, then just leave it and it will do the rest.
And this bit^^^^^^^^is courtsey of risktaker.
Basically if your in Dublin follow this guide and you wont go wrong.

Nice one. All done.
Got me channels.
The remote is pants though. I read somewhere that the old box's remote is faster??? anyone got any tips?
The guide is also moody. If I press OK I can go through the channels but cant see whats on them without choosing one and if I use the EPG button i can preview whats on but only have a limited number of channels to browse.
Any ideas how to get the Programme menu's nice and handy and quick?

@dilber have you flashed your box? If not you need to put the latest software on it for it to unscramble the channels.

You WILL NOT get any stations until you put the latest software on the box the latest software is the 19032009 found in Eamos.

First off man try and stick to the one thread as multiposting will only get the threads closed.

dilber are you trying to flash your box using Vista? if so don't bother as it is more hassle than it's worth, get yourself to a computer running windows xp and you wont have any trouble.
