PS2 Laser HELP!

I have my Slim PS2 that wont read discs. I think it is the laser, but it could also be the whole laser assembly. I am looking for a laser assembly to replace the whole thing, but if someone could help me by telling me if it's just the laser or the whole laser assembly.

I am also looking on eBay for an OEM Sony Laser Assembly, but I could not find any.

I also made a video so you could see the problem. Please let me know if you can help. Thanks

When it comes to ps2 laser/lens problem dont come here! you wont expect anything... Ive been posting about my lens problem and VIOLA NO REPLIES AT ALL! Ive got frustrated and throw away my ps2 and bought a new one!

Your video doesn't show what it is saying when you click on "Browser"

I would guess it says "can't read disc"

You can buy the whole laser deck at richsPsxparts

You only need the whole deck if the disc is not spinning at all.

Most likely is just the laser.

Does the laser move back and forth, and does it light up? Did you check your cables are intact.

Did you try cleaning your laser with q-tip and 'rubbing alcohol'

Thanks smokyrain, and i have tried cleaning it and its the same. When i clicked on browser it did try to read the disc but afterwards it said "cant read disc". I bought the laser only to give it a try.
