Benq Drive Flash Problem [Jungle Flash]

Well I am pretty new on this mod stuff, but this is my problem:
I am trying to flash my BenQ (w/original FW) with the new iXtreme 1.6
I have everything the right PCI card installed and with PORTIO32, the connectivity kit attached and I am using the newest Jungle Flasher v0.1.32 Beta
I have followed the guide carefully, to get into vendor mode the half open tray DID NOT work, however, the guide had another way by clicking info then unplugging the drive for a sec...
I can SUCCESSFULLY connect in Vendor Mode, but when I hit read the Firmware it gets stuck in "reading 0" and nothing else
what am I doing wrong?
If it has a USB it can be hacked!

You dont open the BenQ half way thats only with a lit-on
All you do is hook it up. Click Unlock BenQ, Read It, Then Load 1.6 Click Spoof, Go back to the other page and click Write. Easy drive to mod

What type of SATA chipset are you using? Onboard or VIA 6421?
If the drive is stock, do like the other user said and hit BenQ unlock.
You might need to remove a VIA driver if you are using the 6421 card.

well i havent got time to go back and try these useful tips, one question do i hit the ben unlock after or before i connect in vendor mode?
i got a pci via vt6421a with the drivers removed and the stock benq
If it has a USB it can be hacked!

Once you click BenQ Unlock you will be in vendor mode.

UPDATE!
Ok so I followed what you guys said, connected the drive, open Jungle Flasher and after I select the I/O hit Unlock Benq it goes into Vendor Mode...
BUT after I click the Read button the thing just stops at "Reading Bank 0"... I wait for a few minutes and nothing!
I have seen videos of the mod and none take less than a few seconds for this step... what am I doing wrong?
If it has a USB it can be hacked!

Did you get good flash chip properties? Sounds like it didn't get good flash chip properties and hung when it tried to read the flash chip.

Yes that looks good. Maybe try a different SATA port on the SATA card.

I feel such a noob, changed to another SATA on the card and the Mod process went flawlesly!
Thanks for all your help!
Two last questions though:
1. I have no backups (just ordered my kreon), but my originals are running fine... does that means everything went OK?
2. I have a friend with a modded Xbox that runs the games form the Hard Drive without the disc, is it true? I tried but it asks for the disc... I got the connections for the Hard Drive to the PC. Is there a special mod to be done?

Glad the flash went good. If you wrote the firmware and the read back was OK, then you should have iXtreme flashed to the drive.
As for playing games without discs, it is not possible. With the NXE dashboard update, you can play games from the XBOX 360 hard drive but the game must be in the tray.
