What does it take to Play DVD's?

This is what i have......

Cios Rev 12
Wii Gator
Usb Loader 1.5
Usb Loader GX
WD My Passport External Hard Drive
Wii firmware is 4.0
2GB SD card
Wad Manager 1.3 Channel
Wad Manager 1.4 app inside homebrew

What does it take to play dvd files from my external hard drive?
Do i need to install a wad and then install an app on my sd card? I cant seem to figure this out.

All help is appreciated. Thanks!!

You mean like movies right? All you need is to install dvdx and install Mplayer CE if im not mistaken. If i am, someone please do correct me.

(Edit, sorry i read your question fully now. I believe the dvdx will allow you to play dvds but if your just trying to watch them from an external harddrive than all you need is Mplayer CE. http://wiibrew.org/wiki/Mplayer_ce .If you have an internet connection than you can use my method. I use SMB to watch my movies straight from my computer.
