Backup loader and Gator 3.0 - how do i move games to channels ?

I just got the backup loader and gator 3.0 how do i move games to channels i have tried many things i have a couple games .wad
in my root directory on my sd card i have apps folder and a wad foler with games in it now people say through the homebrew channel but how can i access the game and add it to a channel please help :)

Are you talking about VC or WiiWare games?

If so place the game.wad file into the wad folder and install it using WAD manager 1.4 (launch that from the Homebrew Channel).
