CFW Issue (Error 8002)

For some stupid reason, OFW was installed on my PSP Phat, I have my partners what is running 500 M33-3, so I thought - no problem, get UPMS and create a pandora batt, job done. Not so easy!! I have tried UPMS 5.00 and 5.02, when I goto create a battery, it comes up with

'Error 8002 now exiting'

This is with both batterys (Both PSPs are phat) - am I missing something, or has this got a lot harder recently?? I used to go to UPMS-Project website, but that has vanished! Can one of you fine folk help a fellow PSPer??
