hey guys,
as you may have guessed im a n00b at this whole flashing thing ive tried reading all the stuff thats on here and im pretty damn confused. okay i bought an xecuter 360 NE external flashing device. i have an xbox 360 pro that i bought earlier this year so its new. i just want to know what to do after i install the xecuter. what do i download? how do i use it? what problems am i likely to have?
thanks guys and please remember im new to this. ive done psps but thats it so im not sure on all tools and things.
As for flashing, I'm assuming you can use Jungle Flasher to flash the drive. The Xecuter 360 NE just makes it so you don't have to take apart the 360 each time there is a firmware update. At this rate there has only been 2 this year so I feel that the Xecuter 360 NE is not needed (just my opinion).

hey.. yeahh ive run into a problem. the xecuter is all installed and everything but, when i turn the console on the power icon flashes like its trying to eject and wont stop. the eject button next to the tray doesnt work (though i think thats meant to happen) but the one on the blaster does. the drive ejects and goes back in fine it just wont read the games. on the screen it either says "open tray" "close tray" "opening" or "closing". ive put the blaster in the right modes and everything but its still being a pain in the ass. even after i fix this then what? can i just hook it up to my computer and use jungle flasher with iXtreme and its all straight forward? or is there more grueling annoying things to do? thanks. much appreciated

Sorry, I have no experience with the Blaster. Maybe some of the other members here will come along and answer.
It sounds like you plugged one of the cables around the wrong way, double check the tut to make sure it's all correct. If everything is 100% perfect than it may be a dodgy sata cable. What drive do you have, hitachi's need an extra cable for it to work.
You'll probably have more luck posting this in the blaster NE support section on xecuter.com, try doing that.
If worst comes to worse, you may need to return it, what online store did you buy it from? If it's a dodgy cable you should have no trouble getting it replaced (depending on who you bought it from).
