Memorex Printable DVD+R (Amazon) strange problems

I just bought a 100 spindle of the printable memorex dvd+r's and I am getting many freezes on burns when played back on my PC. HOWEVER, these burns work flawlessly on my Apex dvd player. Anyone have any ideas whats going on?

I was going to buy the printable MEMOREX DVD's but after reading a number of posts on this website I found that you don't know who actually made the blank DVD's for MEMOREX. I never had any problems with 5-packs of MEMOREX DVD's but I hear the type that you bought have serious problems. I just bought a 100-pack of RITEK G04 disks for .78 a piece which everybody says are good disks. I think the problem is with your disks not the player. Some players are more sensitive than other players.
