I have 3 computers and i want to make one of them a server for ftp. So that only me and the other computer can accses it using an ftp program (eg. cuteftp). But the only problem is that i dont know where to get a program to make an FTP server. All i want to do is install a program onto the comp that allows the other two comps to acces it (download + upload to it). anyone got any ideas ?

Try Serv-U FTP V5.0

I havent tried it myself but i have heard good things!

There's about 400 id say lol! if u just want a simple switch on switch off server, try download.com aswell!

Maybe a silly question, but:

WHY do you want an FTP server if it is only for access by two other machines?

Are the three machines on the same network?

i was gonna ask the same thing, i mean if they are all on the same network it would be easy to just use shares instead!
