Help whats a CDI file And How Do I play My Game Thats One

I downloaded Mortal Kombat Gold (its a Sega Dreamcast Game) and When it was done it was a .rar file like it sould be then when I extracted it , it became a CDI file (asumed it ment CD Image File), But When I try to burn it with Nero 6 by burning an image it gave me an error mesage (image length does not corrispond to iblock size block size maybe wrong Yada Yada yada) so i selected ignore and burn the3 cd any way, now my pc wont even regonize ther is acd in the drive let alone let me install the game. Can someone PLEASE, Preety PLEASE help me Mortal Kombat is my Very favorite game
