I have Free Mc Boot on my MC and it came with all the programs:
HDLoader
SMS (works like a charm!)
ESR (have no clue about this one, can anyone explain this?)
USBLaunchElf (not in ELF format
When i use SMS and USBlaunch, it reads my HD.
I am able to play my music, pics, and movies on SMS, but on USBLaunch, my ISO of my games says that it is not in ELF format.
Can i format my games to ELF format from its ISO in DVD format?
So i tried Winhiip to see if HDLoader will work,
NOPE, it says that there is no Hard Drive Found.
After 6 hrs of formating, I have a HD paperwieght (can someone tell me how to re-or un-format my HD back to its original state since Device Manager does not have the option?)
This is what i have to work with:
Swap Magic DVD version
Slim PS2 v12
Western Digital 500G External HD
Free MC Boot on a Pen Drive which sent to my MC (i am pretty sure i have all the correct files...hopefully...)
is there a DVD version of this? where can i find USB Utilities?
couldn't i just format my HD through XP? or do i need that program?
My Slim will only read my Swap Magic dvd version.
It can read psx games, could that work with swap method?
You don't need any swap disc . If you have FMCB just copy the elf on the MC and launch it . USB Loader has a "FORMAT HDD" option , afer that , connect it to the PC and convert games using USBUtil ( http://scenespain.net/foro/index.php?board=37.0 ) .
Compatibility list here http://list.sksapps.com/ , not all games work .
