Just Bought Infamous (PAL) Need help fast

I just moved to london and brought my ps3 over with me since i heard that ps3 games are not region coded. I just bought Infamous for the ps3 and on the back its says that it is a PAL game. Before take the wrapper off i want to make sure it will work on my US ps3

The PS3 is region free,so yes it will work.
