Hi
Being new to this i would like to ask, what software should I get to back up my hard drive data to dvd. Sometimes i may want to make a move with the software (if poss). I dont mind paying, if say nero 6, or dvdxtreme are deemed best for my needs, but would prefer freeware (dont we all !).

Hiya, you don't say whether you mean simply archiving files or making exact image of hard drive but in either case Nero is hard to beat. Cheers!

I'll second bengo. Nero 6 is great for archiving your data. If you want to make an image of your drive I'd recommend Norton Ghost.
