I have a K-hypermedia Cd-recordable 80min/700mb Compatible... and CD-writer EnLight 52x 32x 52x.....
using nero6, but i get a burn faild message saying POWER CALIBRATION ERROR....Just wanna know whats causing this ? , it works fine with a sony Gold cd-r.

Power Calib. errors are typically an indication of a dying drive... it might be a long way off or it might be the next cd. You can avoid them typically by burning slower because not all media is certified to be burned at whatever speed (and some media cant even burn properly at the speed their certified for grrrr :))

K-Hyper media isn't the best of brand name media m8 and I've never heard of EnLight? It's possible Nero may not fully support your cd burner. Try burnatonce, a free burning program to see if you encounter the same errors. Also, use different brand media for your testing. ASPI layers working properly? What version are you running?
