DVD2AVI problem with some VOBs

I am still having this weird problem...when previewing some VOB sets ripped with Smartripper, it will play for about a second, then the picture breaks up, backs up, and repeats that second, and so on, playing and then repeating each second or so. Meanwhile the number in the left-hand box of "VOB CELL ID" shifts back and forth, as does the timestamp readout.

This has happened with 2 of my DVDs so far, Birthday Girl and Serendipity, and the only thing they have in common is that they are both from Mirimax. Maybe that's the reason? What I need, though, is a solution.

The wierd thing is that this only shows up in DVD2AVI (and anything it outputs). I can play the ripped VOBs just fine with PowerDVD in HDD mode.

When you cant read some vob files, use flask mpg to capture vcd/divx/svcd/dvd/mpg/avi. It takes very long but its better to get them copied properly.
