While trying to copy i keep getting "error reading source disk" as soon as the program gets to 100% after copying the first file.

VTS_01_0.VOB

As soon as it copies the first file it then gives me the error message...

Can anyone please help me ?

An error reading the source disc usually means the disc is dirty/scratched or there are corrupt files on it. Some factory discs will have corrupt files that don't bother a standalone player but give the drive in your computer fits when it tries to read it.

Thankyou for your help.

The problem is happening when copying to hard drive. The program stops at exactly the same place each time. I tried 2 different DVD`s and the same thing happened.

I'd suggest downloading DVD Decrypter, it's free, and use it on the problem discs. It may be an issue with XCopy.

DVD Decrypter:

And a guide for it:
