which DVD+R to buy?

Backed up a movie using DVD Decrypter. It works fine on my computer DVD drive but my stand alone DVD player won't play it. Is there a blank DVD+R disc I could buy that would make a difference?

I should have added that the discs I was using were 4x Memorex.

Who is the manufacturer of the Memorex you used? You can find out with DVD Info Pro.

Better discs can help but there are many factors that influence compatibility such as the methods you use to burn and whether your standalone likes +R, -R or neither.
