I have k-hypermedia dvd+r media (25 spindle), and I was wondering if dvdinfopro would detect if the disc is bad. People say that the burn works fine for awhile, and then won't be recognized by anything. Well, I don't want my files to disappear.

Thanks

Who does DVD Info Pro say makes the disc?

Here's a thread dealing with these discs:

DVD Info Pro will do a read test for errors after the disc has been burned. It is generally known that CMC is poopy media - I wouldn't use them. Ritek G04 are very good media at a reasonable price.

Of course be prepared for someone to come to this thread and say CMC are the best discs in the world and that you're wasting your time buying the good stuff like Ritek. I guess they think if it works "good" for them, it's good for everyone.
