I hope someone can help me , I bought a dvd from extra vision.(3000 miles to Vegas) So I decided to make a back-up of my dvd.

When I started to rip the dvd it told me it was an illegal operation but I pressed on any way using claddvdxp 1.3 to rip(dvd to vcd) which includes dvd2avi excellent and also tmpgenc 2.57 and nero 5.5 to burn.the problem is , although i have ripped it to my hard drive its to big to fit on one disc (80 min cd-r)but when i go to split the file to put it on 2 discs,it comes up this file is protected (but it plays perfect of the hard drive).is their any way around this. Its doing my nut in.
