Hey I'm very new and I was curious if anyone knew if there was a way to get content dls other than xbox live.

Depends on what game it is, but you can get the downloadable content in some xbox mags.

not all of it tho, only limited stuff, and also the mags are around £5-£7 anyway, so just go and get the full thing

I was giving him an alternative... Plus not everyone has broadband. Another reason he may find getting the magazine to get the updates is that it is cheaper. Im not sure what your currency is compared to America's, but here a magazine is a whole hell of a lot cheaper than xbox live.
