Seems that since i have started backing up dvds i have lost a huge amount of hard drive space. i am running windows xp pro (sp1) on a HP w/ a 2.4 pentium 4 processor. its got a 56 gig hd, 512 of ram, and i use shrink to do the majority of the backups. i just reformatted my laptop 1 week ago. there is only 6 gigs of actual hard drive space (i open the c drive and select all folders and select properties)used but when i check my c drive it says that 35 gigs are used. i use shrink and save a copy to my hard drive and then delete the folder after the back up is complete. please let me know if anyone has had the same problems and if anyone knows of any resolutions. also please let me know if i need to provide any additional information.
