Please could I have some advice please? I followed the guide to join two AVI files but that's where it stops. What do I save the file as for further processing with TMPGEnc. Uncompressed RGB would use up 110GB of HDD disk space so I saved it as XVID Mpeg4, same as original files. Is this correct please?

yes, seems right, just open if with TMPGEnc and, if you want to make a dvd-r, save it as mv2 and mp2, good luck, if you get no sound, just report if back here and ill help you again.

Thanks for the reply bigmouse. I followed the guides to the letter and guess what no sound from the DVD!
The mp2 file created by TMPGEnc plays but with no sound. What went wrong?
