i had 6 svcds that were bin files and used to load them with dameon tools to watch them but to make things easier for someone else to watch the movies and just click on the mpeg folder to watch i exracted all the bin files with magic iso but didn't extract using "but filter mpeg frames" and have deleted all the bin files thinking everthing would be fine. Now not one of those movies will play properly if at all.
Blockiness, bad audio etc.Is there any way to undo what i have done fix, repair etc please help

i'm not really sure you can do much about it.
the best thing for you now is file recovery. and hope for the best that its not overwritten yet.

I tried a couple of file recovery progs but had no luck with any of the movies, strangley enough though it found some files that i had deleted months ago.
I thought my chances were going to be slim :(

If this helps anyone, i analized one of the mpeg files with VCD easy and this is what it says :
MPEG2, PlayingTime=0.000s, Bitrate=1823200bps, PtsOffset=0000s, 1 packets

mpeg scan: pack header code (0x000001ba) expected, but 0x6186e346 found (buflen = 2324)
bad packet at packet #1 (stream byte offset 2324) -- remaining 718681836 bytes of stream will be ignored
mpeg stream contained no scan information (user) data

This is because the Mpeg files were extract as Raw Data Blocks which uses a 2324kb Block size but the Mpeg2 Standard Block size is 2048kb and it also seems that the Proper Time code was not extracted...So I would suggest that you could Probably fix these Files if you used the "Mpeg2VCR" "Gop Fixer"...This will analize your Files and Re-Build the headers and Gop structure and Time Code and Fix and audio and Video PTS Errors...If you PM me with your E-mail address I might be able to Find a simular tool that will do the same thing and fix your problem....Cheers
