i using the dvd shrink 3.1, and when i try to backup a dvd, there're 2 kind of audio that i hav to leav 1 of them, and those two are LPCM and AC3, and the LPCM has greater size than the AC3, like 1000mb and 300mb(AC3), so i wonder wich one is actualy has better quality, or they just the same, if u know about it pleas reply, tankz alot...

The plus about using LPCM (uncompressed WAV format) is that it is higher quality than AC3. But be careful--with LPCM you will only have two channels (L and R). AC3 is a compression codec like MP3 and represents audio anywhere from 2 to 6 (5.1) channels. If the DVD's audio is only two channels (or you dont have surround sound) and you have the space on the DVD you are copying to, use the LPCM. Otherwise, you better stick with the AC3.
With conversions though, most AC3 will end up as Dolby 2, in this case if you got the room 2 channel LPCM will sound much better and will usually enable more surround modes on your redeiver.
In Nero Vision Express conversions, the Dolby Digital 2 is only 192 kps and sounds tinny with no real thump compared to the LPCM, which even though is only 2 channel sounds very good in a Dolby Prologic Emulation mode (in the same mode the actual Dolby 2 audio just doesn't cut it).
