Hello...I have 3 SVCD files that have been ripped from a DVD...I'm just wondering how I should go about putting them on a CD as one of them is 843megs...Which is a lot bigger than the size of a CD-R...So, obviously there will be problems...What type of media should I use? Is there any way I can convert these 3 SVCD files in order to combine them and put them on one DVD? Is there a way I can fit the 3 SVCD bin files onto one DVD? I'm just so confused because I thought the purpose of SVCD was to play videos on a CD-R instead of DVD's...Any help would be appreciated. Thank you :)

First off you can not rip a DVD and get SVCD Files, You can encode DVD files to SVCD but that is IT...and yes these SVCD Files seem too big for a CD-R but they still Might fit...The Way you Burn Bin/Cue files to SVCD useing Nero is you just start Nero and go to "Recorder" to "Burn Image" and then navigate to the Cue File(It should be with the Bin file, that is if you downloaded it like you should) and choose the Cue file and the Bin will automaticly Load with it and then Burn at a Low speed(4X)...But if you do not have the Cue files you will have to extract the SVCD/Mpeg2 file from the Bin file and burn it to CD-R as a SVCD...You can use "ISO_Buster" to extract the "AVSEQ01.MPG" file out of the Bin file.(In the MpegAV or Mpeg2 Folder) after extracting the Mpeg2 file from the Bin file you can just Burn it as a SVCD useign Nero But if it is Too Big for a CD-r then you are Pretty Screwed...If it is Too Big for a CD-R(you can fit 800mb on a 700mb 80min CD-R) then you would Have to Join all 3 Mpeg2 files together and then Cut them into Parts again but put them on 4 CD-R"s...But if you have a DVD Burner then you are Better off authoring all 3 Parts to DVD as a Non-Standard DVD but doing this is a Little Complicated because the audio would need to be Demuxed and resampled to 48000hz before you could put them on DVD and only a couple DVD authoring Programs will Put SVCD/Mpeg2 files on DVD WITHOUT Re-encodeing...I backed up my 400 movie SVCD Collection to DVD this way and they Played Much better than they ever did as SVCD"s because SVCD"s and VCD"s can be very troublesome at times and DVD is much superior....If you need any help let me know...Cheers
