Hello all!

I just won an Ebay auction for a JVC GR-DVL305U MiniDV Digital Camcorder for $150. I have never owned a digital camcorder before, so other than some tips from a friend in the video producing business, I didn't really know what all to look for. I wanted a camara for casual use: family-and-friend video's, taping concerts of different bands that I roadie for as well as for my worship team, probably will take alot of still pictures for posterity. Does anyone know anything about this particular model? Any limitations, downfalls? Extra beneficial features that stand out? How compatible will it be to use with my VHS cassette player? DVD? Computer software and hardware? (800M processor and Dazzle digital media converter and software)

Anything to know about buying camara's off ebay? It is apparently like an overstock item and tested and found to be in excellent condition... but I've never bought anything like this off ebay before, so...

I realize I should have done this homework before I even bid. But I didn't really know where to go, who to ask. Any thoughts from experience on this model would be appreciated, while I still have a chance to do something about it.
