Hi. Kinda new to this ps2 scene but am copying dvd movies with no problems and don't know what I'm doing wrong. I work in IT so am eating some humble pie and asking for help! I ripped the ps2 disc (James Bond) to hard disc using dvd decrypter. I burnt the ISO using the same and have a messiah chip in a PS2 that plays both DVR-R & DVD+R movie discs. Turn it on, I get the old "please insert a vaild playstation2 disc" message. It plays other backups so I know the machine is OK, it plays the same DVD media I burnt to (DVD+R) but my backups just ain't cutting the mustard. So what am I doing wrong? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Cheers.

Ooops. I've just realized this is posted in completely the wrong thread - but how the hell do I change it? How do I delete this and post it in the correct thread? I'm gonna get a beatin' having just read all the FAQ's! There doesn't seem to be a way and I'm going to bed now so am giving up. Peace.

Are you useing the same kind of disc as the other games you backed up that worked? if then it should work fine , you should try useing another program such as Prassi Primo DVD , thats what i use to backup my games they all work fine, you should try going to the browser and then insert the backup , somtimes it gets it to boot that way. otherwise im not really sure what it is if it dont work then , cuz i dont have a modchip really , i just use the Swap Magic 3.0 and The Flip Top cover , and when my backups dont work all i gotta usually do is just download a file that i burn to a cd that is inserted between the swap magic and the backup that didnt work.
