decrypter will only break the encryption on your disc....it wont allow for any editing.

best thing to do is download DVD Shrink.

shrink will in most cases read the disc just as well as decrypter but will also allow you to re-author the disc and compress it down to fit on a dvd5

hope ths helps

hi rsmith69

In order to open a .ISO file for further processing you need Daemon Tools, get it here

http://www.daemon-tools.cc/portal/index.php

You use it to mount the .ISO as a virtual drive, after that you can process it with DVD Shrink or whatever you like, but I don't think DVD Shrink will be able to open the .ISO file unless you use Daemon Tools on it first.

rsmith69,

Open DVD Shrink, go to "File" then click "Open Disc Image". Now you can use DVD Shrink to get your ISO file down to size -

Enjoy,

Pete

there you go, you learn every day. ;)
The new version of DVD Shrink is able to open disc images, too, so as Pete already mentioned, there's no need for Daemon Tools if you use DVD Shrink. Most other compression and ripping tools will need Daemon Tools to open the .ISO, though.
Have fun!
