neoDVD dumps DVD audio

I just brought home an LG DVD Writer and there was some software with it so the checkout ride began! One of the apps was "neoDVDplus5' It was very user friendly amd the burn seemed to go without incident...until the acid test came. My first 2 DVDs were coasters (sigh) and although it rendered smokin' DVD video...there was not a speck of audio on both discs I tried to back up. Has any body ever had a problem like this with this application?
