i'm on my 3rd first one got 3rod and the second one got E74 (anyone knows how to fix this E74 error.
i can't even send for repair to MS whether my 360 is modded or unmodded because the country where i live don't have any MS warranty.

Wow that really sucks. Sorry to hear that man, I would be livid if that happened to me. Hope things work out for you some how but if this is your 3rd you shouldn't buy anymore! In a round about way are helping to worsen the situation buy supporting MS and their faulty consoles.

im sending in my 360 and turn around overall should be 3-4 days (quick for m$)... so we can only wait and see what 2nd or 3rd hand junk they have piled together thanks for help guys... ill keep you posted

wtf? they MELT!!!! omg, i was going to get one a while back but never had the chance.... my setup for my 360 is my 32"lcd on wall and my 360 on its own underneath not cramped and not next to anything just that on its own so it can breath my speakers are also wall mounted... do you think thats enough to cool it? i just moved sky+ upstairs and theirs an empty spot where my 360 is.... i want it back

hey guys
i tell u my experience.... i bought a xbox 360 and its still supposed to be under warranty, i own a ps3, xbox, wii and a nokia n95.. well my little sister peeled the sticker on the back of the console which has the serial key on it... now my console has a the 3 red lights and Microsoft wont bloody repair or replace it :@ they said I tampered with it? how can i tho? u need to remove the silver sticker to open it up.. WTF is wrong with those idiots, anyways, i fixed it with the towel fix and it working for a while and now the DVD rom is dead.. i cant stress this anymore as my ps3 and wii is working perfectly fine..
i would kill bill gates if i ever see him :@

lol well i did ask them nicely, i tried every possible way to explain to them that the silver sticker is still there, its just the serial key sticker is gone... u only need to remove the silver one to optn the console right? so it shouldnt be counted as a tampered console at all.
micorsoft should replace everýone's broken xbox with the New Falcon xboxes coming this yr

Well then don't tell them. Get like one of your friends to pretend to be you, and make them tell the xbox guys that your retarted little brother was spouting off lies. That should work. Oh and this time be very indignant, be a little rude if you must. DO get angry.

i saw this thread and i just had to join to add my two cents. my first 360 last just over 3 months and went down with the 3rod. my warranty had just expired so i bought a brand new console. i sold all my orginal games on ebay and had my friend mod my new system. it worked fine for about 8 months but just recently starting saying "unplayable disk" for every burned game i tried to play. i tried an original game and got the same "unplayable disk" error. my 360 will still play store bought and burned dvd's and cd's though. anyone have any idea what the problem could be and how i can go about fixing it? my console is under warranty but as i stated it's modded so that ruins that.

hey Abuzar,
Microsoft has sent me a box to transport my xbox in, but when they receive it and if the find the serial key sticker missing, will they send it back to me untouched?
but the silver sticker is untouched :(

If the sticker is untouched they will fix your xbox. Hell even if you opened it they probably would fix it.

Well I lost another XBOX 360. I called and spoke with a supervisor who told me they would send me another new console! I jump through the hoops and receive the box package up my console and send it. I was told several times that the console would be New...
I received the console on Sep. 4. I opened the console and to my surprise it wasn't in an AntiStaic Bag. The console also had finger prints all over it... when I took it out of the package and looked at the Manufacture date it said Made In chain, and built on 8/27/2007.... How is that possible if it is a Brand New Console? They shipped it on the 28th from texas so how did it get from china to texas in a Matter of 1 day... This told me that the Supervisor I spoke too lied through his teeth... the console was obviously repaired! That part is minuet because the console didn't even turn on... Now I have to go through the hoops again!!! I have been without a console for nine *bleep* month... The longest span that I had a working console was 4 weeks when I actually drove to redmond WA and demanded a new console on the spot or I would call the seattle news stations! I might just be worth my while to do that again....

man that sux.. 9 Months?? that is the longest eva.. i hope they wont send me a broken console... if u ever get one that works on the spot. sell it on ebay and get a ps3, im gonna sell mine when it comes back from the repqirs.
microsoft should dispose all the faulty consoles and give every1 the new falcon console

I had no problem with mine until 13 months in. I got the red ring of death, called MS, waited 3 1/2 weeks, recieved a refurb'd replacement in a bashed up box. FIRST START RED RING OF DEATH. So i called MS again, had another shipping box sent out that was DAMAGED again when I recieved it empty (takes 5 days alone). My replacement started working well for 2 weeks, then BAM, red ring of death. It is 11 days until H3. that means ill probable recieve a new Xbox A WEEK AFTER HALO 3. I am pissed, to say the least. I plan on getting an Elite system and ebaying my refurb'd one.

Why the hell won't MS credit me with a DEPRECIATED VALUE so I can put it towards an Elite system that works. And they think sending me a 1 month XBOX live subscription card makes up for the time lost??????? This is not ethical. If it werent for Halo, I would not be dealing with MS

Just got my falcon console brand new today... The supervisor actually went to best buy and bought a new console and sent it to me... I am trying to talk him into photocopying the receipt and sending it to me so I can buy best buys warranty! The one complaint I have with the falcon console is that if you want to have HDMI going directly to your TV and use optical to go to you reciver for 5.1 then you have to buy an adapter that costs 50 bucks!
By the way I have a PS3!

its all scratched and dirty >.<
but it works for now, i wonder how long it will last, i should be asking them for a falcon one. wut does the falcon one look like?
