Got all my channels back in Cork with Box Super / SV3

This is how: Un-plugged Box Super from TV and re-downnload with GTRom_Super8.02e (http://www.4shared.com/dir/5845928/53140084/The_Box_SUPER.html)
from PC to Box Super with the Null Modem cable.

Connect Box Super back to TV > Menu > Installation > Cho*us Cork> Automatic Scan --> wait until all the channels are found > Exit > Exit.
Select S*y Sports --> Menu > enter 1570 > EMU on > Set Default Key >> OK >Exit > Exit --> Wait for INFO: Data updates to complete.

Good luck!

Blarney

Well if you are happy with that, then no-one can knock it, it's fine. It is a personal choice each person makes, and that's all, it is not compulsory.

Hey Blarney. I followed your instructions to the letter and my Box Super is still looping when loading. Are you sure this is how you did it??

It is a bit of trial and error as to which channel updates for you, you need to try a few, but you will need to leave it awhile, for instance this poster found Sky 2, did it for him.>>>>>>>>>

You need to have a look at this link for a guide in pictures okay, and if it is The Box Starview 2 then you will get the Firmware there as well.

Hello all, with the help of the good people on this site I have mangaed to flash both a Eurovox V Max and a Reply Lite over the past few months. I have a Starview 2 (The Box) myself and have never updated the software on it as it was already setup when I got it last Feb. I'm expecting some of the chanels gone when I get home this evening to the (Peoples Republic)due to recent events and need some advice.
I have downloaded GTRom Ver 4.03 and thebox_h20081204_455eE_api.bin file for the UK fix to my PC as sudgested but before I attempt to flash the box there is a mention of Cryptstar - V1.4 genuine on the following thread http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/663923. do I need to do something with this or do I just flash the 455eE bin file. Current software on The Box is
APIver:4.50e_E
Boot ver:7.0

Hi guys. My own box-t is down, (surprise surprise), but my m8 just received his digivox-t yesterday, (tough luck).
So is it safe to assume there won't be a fix for this either as it is an mmds box?

There is no fix at the moment sorry, but I do believe it is being worked on, so have faith, and never say never.

Evastar quick question before my lucnh break is over, just spoke to one of the gals at home about The Box and they have manually inputed those numebr thingys to get it working. Would you advise still updating with the new firmware or wait to see if it goes down again.

It is a personal choice that only you can make, they will definately go down again, no doubt about that, but if you want to manually input, then it is your choice, but you shouls update reallu. ....
