Hey guys/gals

First let me say thanks for all the help and tips thus far. I used Decryptor, Shrink and Nero and I am getting better results then when I used DVDXCopy.

Now here is the only problem that I have experience while making backup copies. The entire movie plays and works great except towards the end. Say on a DVD with 25 chapters, when I get to chapter 23 it begins to skip and on chapter 24 it freezes altogether.

I just make a copy of the movie, because that is the only part I am interested in backing up.

Does anyone have any suggestions or tips that I can use to prevent/stop this from happening?

hi bigbear89
Your problems are classic signs of cheap media ie. brand of discs your using.Try ritek go4 or verbatim, they'll never steer you wrong. In the meantime you can always shrink your movie a bit more so your not writting on the outer edge, that should help you.
good luck and welcome to the club
jim

Really. I didn't know that the media made that much of a difference. I am currently using memmorex 4x dvd+r

Do they sell the ritek go4 and verbatim in the stores or is that something that I need to order from a web page?

Which one between ritek go4 and verbatim is better?

Thanks for the help guys/gals!!!!!!!!!
