Anyone had any success ripping schindlers list with shrink? I get an error message at 49% analyzed (the first, two minute analysis) saying something like "cylic redundancy". Any help would be greatly appreciated.

a lot of the time "cyclic redunancy" error means there is something wrong with the disc. check it's not scratched or dirty.
hope this helps

Nope, its a brand new disc. Ive tried it with Shrink, x copy xpress, and decrypter. The disc is two sided, because the movie is over 3 hours long. Will this make a difference?

I backed up Schinder's list with Shrink 3.1.7 without any problem. I backed up side 1 and side 2 separately and burned on 2 disks. Cycle Redundancy errors occur when burner cannot read disk generally due to them beingdamaged or scratched. Could be that your original didn't burn perfectly when it was made...

I thought it might be an error from the factory too. Is there any way to test it? I ran dvdinfopro, it checked out fine. Should I just give up, or is there anything else I could try?
