Hi there, I found a new codec that is available to download from On2 technologies. It works with my BT84x capture card and records 1min=2mb. Here's the link for those interested:

The program is opensource.

The only downside for me is that it will only record at 15 or 30fps.......(25fps PAL) and you will need a program like Core Media Player to playback the file on another machine.
